Returns and Refunds

If you are unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason please contact us by emailing or via our contact us page within 14 days of receiving your item/s and we can arrange for an exchange or refund. Any items returned to us for a refund or exchange must be in the unworn/unused condition that you received it in with any tags still attached and in its original packaging.

There are certain types of goods that are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food and flowers cannot be returned.

For hygiene reasons we do not accept returns on earrings for pierced ears.

We will issue a full refund, (excluding the postage you paid when you ordered the item unless there is proof the item was misrepresented or we have made an error) if the item is returned in the exact same condition it was sent out. For this reason, please be careful when trying on items and handling items if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase.

If you wish to return an item, please contact us and we will then send you a return form to complete and provide you with our address for returns

1. As the customer you are responsible for the cost of posting the item back to Happy Wedding Day. The only exception being when we have misrepresented or inaccurately described the item you purchased. In this instance we will cover the full postage costs of returning the item to us.
2. Items are returned at your own risk so we recommend that you obtain proof of postage when the item(s) is sent back. Within the UK you can get a free posting certificate from the post office or send it Recorded or Special Delivery. For overseas returns please check with you mail provider. We regret that we cannot offer refunds on items you are unhappy with if we do not receive them i.e. they are lost in the post.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase such as an order or transaction number
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Books with obvious signs of use. CD, DVD that has been opened. Any item not in it’s original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds and Exchanges

Once your return is received and inspected we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund
Refunds(If applicable) will be credited back to you within 7 working days from when we receive the returned goods and you will receive a confirmation email.
Please note that the refund may take a few days, depending on who you bank with, to appear on your bank statement or in your PayPal account.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account/PayPal account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and we will assist you.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
