Here is our guide to help you ensure your hair is in tip top condition for your wedding day.
It sounds simple but the condition of your hair is so important. Use a good protein rich shampoo and talk to your hairdresser about what conditioner is right for you. Hair that is in great shape will withstand backcombing, colour changes and heat styling and come out the other side smiling. Hair treatments also build shine levels for glossy glowing locks.

The hair style you choose should compliment your dress and individual style. You need to feel comfortable and be confident.

Questions to consider...
- What is the neckline like on your dress?
- What would you like to make a feature of?
- Would you like to show off the neckline?
- Does it have beautiful straps that would be lost if you kept your hair down?
- What is your signature style?
- Does the style you are thinking of reflect your personality and/or theme?
- Do you want to look the same on your wedding day or dramatically different to your everyday style?
There are no right or wrong answers to these questions and they are a good starting point as you prepare to discuss the look you would like with your hair dresser.

Check out styles in wedding magazines, online and on apps. Pinterest and Google are great sources of inspiration. Have a selection of styles you like ready to show your hairdresser. They will have knowledge about what will work with your face shape and hair and will be able to play with different looks with you to find what suits you and reflects your vision.

HAVE A HAIR TRIAL Hair trials are great for bringing your vision to life. You may find that the original look you wanted doesn't work or you want to tweak or change your look so you achieve the style you have always dreamed of. A good hairdresser will be patient and work with your to achieve the look you want. Don't be afraid to ask them to change something you don't like. This is your day and you want to feel special in every way! |
